Specific Indication:
Hypothyroidism occurs when the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormone. The specific indications may include thyrotoxicoses, intoxications of thyroid glands with trembling of hands, slowness, diarrhoea, and emaciation.
General Indication:
The symptoms of hypothyroidism are opposite from hyperthyroidism. The general indications of hypothyroidism and thyrointoxication includes sluggishness, tiredness, gaining of weight more easily, symptoms aggravate with cold weather, less perspiration, have drier skin, thinning hair, mild swelling around eyes, weak heart and slower heart rate, shortness of breath, slower digestion and constipation, in case of female menstrual irregularities and infertility.
Dosage:
