Specific Indication:
Alopecia falling of hair, caused by chronic headache, lack of secretion of the sebaceous glands. Baldness due to atrophy of hair follicles. Alopecia of partial or more often total loss of hair.
General Indication:
Alopecia areata is one or more circular or oval smooth patches. Alopecia totalis is the total involvement of the scalp. Alopecia areata sometimes limited to the beard. Sometimes the nails are involved with pitting. It is development of small rounded areas on the scalp, which have become completely bald. These sometimes increases in size and run together until the whole scalp appears absolutely hairless. The recovery from this condition is usually slow, and if occuring in elderly persons, will probably take longer. BM Alopecia compositum is good therapy to accelerate the recovery.
Alopecia areata occurs in males and females of all ages and races, however, onset most often begins in childhood and can be psychologically devastating.
