Sometimes there is loss of taste of the affected side. Sound may also be louder on the affected side. In some cases, the cause is stroke. The eye of the affected side cannot be closed and the forehead can be wrinkled. Facial paralysis can also develop due to the brain tumour which slowly develops accompanying headache or hearing loss.
