Specific Indication:
CLD is a term used for chronic liver disease. It means the gradual destruction of liver tissues over time. Several liver diseases fall under this category, including cirrhosis of liver and fibrosis of liver. The specific symptoms though vary but the following are most common anorexia, weight loss, ascites, viral hepatitis, drowsiness, muscular or joint aches etc.
General Indication:
CLD is a medical condition in which liver damage has occurred over a period of time. This can happen because of prolonged viral infection of the liver, drug and/or alcohol abuse and inherited and metabolic disease.
When there is an ongoing damage to the liver, it may worsen the liver function, progressively the liver becomes hardened. A hardened liver will be less able to carry out its usual important functions. The general symptoms of CLD range from minimal to severe, including fatigue, jaundice, fever and weight loss. Some other symptoms are poor appetite, excess urination and excess drinking of water, fluid in the abdominal cavity, curling of figures, breast enlargement in men, hair loss, itching, muscle loss, portal hypertension, redness of palms, small spider like veins in skin and weakness.
Dosage:
