Specific Indication:
Excruciating intermittent radiating pain in the kidney. Nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, fever, urinary frequency disturb, dysuria, cloudy urine, cystitis. Pain in the lumbar region and hypochondrium. Elevated renal profiles & giddiness mild.
General Indication:
In many cases there is a sudden onset of pain in one or both loins radiating to the iliac fossa and supra-pubic area. There may be dysuria and stranguary with the passage of small amount of scalding, usually cloudy urine, due to an associated cystitis. Temperature rises 100o to 102o and there may be vomiting. Tenderness and muscular pain may be present in the lumbar region and hypochondrium. Changes are noticed in urine macroscopic examination.
Whereas microscopic analysis indicates numerous pus cells, some red cells and epithelial cells. In which organisms are motile, infection is assumed to be due to Esch. Coli.
In pyelitis of children, the disease presents only fever without any localized symptoms. An acute case is diagnosed by the sudden rise of fever with chill, pain in the loins, and sometimes by a tender swelling dysuria. Urine analysis shows many pus cells and causative bacteria.
Dosage:
Adult: 10-15 drops, children half of the same, 3-4 times a day in some water or as prescribed by a Homoeopathic doctor.
